Jenkins: Peacemakers

peacemakers header

Having entered the specialist classical album charts at No.1, Karl Jenkins’ The Peacemakers,  sequel to his world famous hit The Armed Man', has taken listeners and performers by storm.

Dedicated to all who live in conflict, each of the contrasting movements extols the ideals of peace by incorporating texts from iconic world-changing figures such as Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa, Anne Frank and the Dalai Lama, to name just a few.

British composer Paul Carr has been writing music since the age of 15.  His output includes a number of concertos and the outstanding Requiem for an Angel.  He has written scores for numerous British films and television programmes. His Magnificat is an exciting new RRCS commission.
